Syncronize contacts, notes, and calendar on iPhone - SyncML

To synchronize contacts with Mail, iPhone users need to install the Funambol SyncML client to their phone. Follow these steps to install Funambol on the iPhone and sync contacts with Mail:
  1. Using your iPhone, go to the App Store.
  2. Click Search and type Funambol in the search box. 
  3. Click Search
  4. Click Funambol
  5. Click Free.  Then click Install.
  6. After the Funambol client has downloaded to your iPhone, click the Funambol icon.
  7. You will be prompted to enter in your credentials.  Enter time and click OK.
  8. In the Server Location field, type your server location so that it follows this format: http://webmail.yourdomain.com/sync/default.aspx
  9. In the Username field, type your email address.
  10. In the Password field, type the password for the account.
  11. Click Done.
  12. Click Funambol in the upper left corner.
  13. Click Sync Contacts to synchronize the contacts.
